சிட்னியின் பிரதேசத்திலுள்ள DaySpring தேவாலயத்தில் இறுதிக் கிரியைகளுக்கு உரிய ஆராதனைகள் முற்பகல் 11 மணியளவில் இடம்பெற்றன.

போதைப்பொருள் கடத்தல் குற்றத்திற்காக மரண தண்டனை விதிக்கப்பட்ட மயூரன், கடந்த ஏப்ரல் 29ஆம் திகதி இந்தோனேஷியாவின் நுசக்கம்பங்கன் தீவில் துப்பாக்கி வேட்டுக்களை நெஞ்சில் தாங்கி மரணத்தைத் தழுவினார்.
அவருடன் மரணதண்டனை நிறைவேற்றப்பட்ட அன்ட்ரூ சானின் இறுதிக் கிரியைகள் நேற்று சிட்னியில் இடம்பெற்றன. உற்றார், உறவினர், நண்பர்கள் என ஆயிரக்கணக்கான மக்கள் திரண்டு சானுக்கு பிரியாவிடை அளித்தார்கள்.
மயூரன் தம்மை விட்டு நிரந்தரமாக பிரியாவிடை பெற்றுச் செல்லும் தருணத்தில், அவரது புகைப்படங்கள் அடங்கிய ஆல்பத்தை பகிரங்கப்படுத்தியுள்ளனர்.
