“We would very much like, the Army to be out from the Northern Province,” C.V. Wigneswaran said on Monday (8).

The observation was made at a press conference attended by Minister John Amaratunga.

“Because, there are still some 150,000 army soldiers in the Northern Province. That means every five or six individuals in the province have an army person who is around. Thus, we would very much like, the Army to be out from the Northern Province” Wigneswaran added.
